Theatre group Nouvelle Lune was born in Carrara (Tuscany, Italy).

It is made up by young artists coming from various professional and personal experiences in the fields of acting, sculpting, illustrating, mime art, music and pedagogy, in contact with international theatre realities and non –conventional human and educational situations.

Different attitudes have been naturally put together to build a project which combines the art of mime and jugglery with theatre and masks.

 

Nouvelle Lune wishes to bring theatre back to its ancient setting, to get in touch with the audience and offer an occasion of amusement and fun to those who walk along: that is why the street is the chosen scenario of their shows.

 

Nouvelle Lune group also collaborates with various national and international associations among which there is Legambiente (GR) and Lunaria (Rome) with which they still promote projects for children from the zones around Duzge (Turkey), which suffered the earthquake of 1999.
